Jambool was founded with the motivation to make online social collaboration possible, easy and fun. With the popularity of social networks, it is now easier than ever to connect with friends online, and stay connected. Can we tap into these connections for our everyday needs? Do these connections make it easier for me to communicate, share, learn? Jambool is here in the quest to answer this question -- and we believe the answer is yes.

- Vikas Gupta Co-founder and CEO
Vikas focuses on product vision, business development, marketing and development.
Vikas spent several years at Amazon.com leading the Payments groups and Web services products -- building one of the busiest transaction processing systems in the world. In 2004 Vikas co-founded the Amazon.com's India office in Bangalore, and hired and led the engineering teams. Vikas is also the lead inventor of Amazon's Flexible Payment service.
- Reza Hussein Co-founder and CTO
Reza focuses on the Jambool platform, technology and leads the engineering teams.
Reza is an 8 year veteran of Amazon.com building complex distributed systems. He led Amazon.com's order workflow team and built some of the most high-throughput workflow systems online today. Reza last worked on defining and building Amazon's Mechanical Turk product, as well as hired and led the engineering teams.

Most recenyly, Hemant founded Reporterist -- an online exchange for news. Prior to Reporterist, Hemant Bhanoo was a senior engineer for Amazon.com specializing in Distributed Systems. At Amazon, he worked for Amazon.com CTO Werner Vogels on distributed caching. In 2004, he helped open Amazon's research and development office in Bangalore, India, where Amazon Flexible Payments Service (FPS) was built. Hemant has a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
- Daniel Pirone The Big Honcho
Dan's helping everyone stay calm and breathe normally.
Daniel Pirone is a senior software developer / architect with over 18 years of experience - focusing primarily on internet e-commerce and enterprise services development. After completing his BS in Computer Science and graduate studies in complex adaptive systems and virtual interface technology, he helped found two Seattle tech startups - including launching a Java on Linux based e-commerce solutions in 1996. At amazon.com he was a technology leader, bringing automation and scaling to the supply chain optimizations group. Since 2002, he was a senior developer and architect in the mobile commerce space at Amdocs' Qpass division. His proven track record of delivering business value in all phases of the software development life cycle will assure that Jambool is able to maximizes its potential.
- Jim Scheinman Advisor
Jim is the voice of reason for Jambool.
Jim is helping Jambool in an advisory role. Jim brings tremendous experience building businesses and growing them. He is currently EIR at Charles River Ventues. Prior to that, Jim was an early exec at Bebo and Friendster, leading their business development, and SVP of business dev. at NBCi.
